Fajar Secondary School achieved its 51st record on 1 Sep 2022, which was sadly, also its last under the current school name. Fajar holds the most records among Singapore schools. From next year, the school will merge with Greenridge Secondary and adopt the name of the latter. Every student was given a pair of sneakers and they painted them for display, forming the words ‘Fajar – The dawn is breaking, the light shines through,’ from their school song. The words measured 38.6m by 15.4m.
