Tour agency, 1derlust, has a large number of Point 65 modular kayaks which can be easily detached and reattached within seconds. To celebrate Singapore’s 52nd National Day, the company assembled 52 seatable pieces together and crowdsourced for 52 participants for this unique record-breaking experience. To participate, one had to make a donation to one of the five charities and the response was overwhelming. On 6 Aug 2017, the longest kayak measuring 64.8m long and a width of 0.75m, rowed along coast at Pasir Ris Park.
