Sembcorp Industries’ Family Day was held at Gardens by the Bay on 15 Nov 2014. Those present were given goodie bags which included snacks and bottles of water. The empty bottles were then returned and glued on a wooden frame. The 6.1m-by-2.44m wall made of 3,793 recyclable plastic bottles became a very visual commitment to environmental sustainability. 600 bottle caps were used to make the world map centrepiece.
