RangoliChops was created by the Nee Soon South IAEC to portray Singapore as a multiracial nation. The artform is Indian but the chopsticks and this being the year of the tiger reflect the Chinese community. The tiger is also a symbol of Malay authority and power. The 3m-by-3m rangoli made with 7,000 pieces of chopsticks was completed on 14 May 2022 at MPC@Khatib. The design was led by Sudhadevi Ravichandran.
