To commemorate its 88th anniversary, Changi General Hospital staff and its community partners joined hands to put together a mural made of 264,292 photobricks. Comprising 105 panels, the 6m-by-2.8m mural was unveiled by DPM Heng Swee Kiat on 26 Aug 2023. The hospital traces its roots back to 1935 when the British Royal Air Force Hospital was built within the naval base at Changi. It merged with Toa Payoh Hospital and moved to the current site in Simei in 1997.
