About 30 residents living at Commonwealth Close and their friends decided to have their own unique National Day celebrations. They imported 70 kg of red roses and 70 kg of white marigolds from India and on 13 Aug 2023, arranged them to form a 6m-by-4m Singapore flag in the neighbourhood’s multi-purpose hall.
