To celebrate Singapore’s signing of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD), the Purple Parade was held at Hong Lim Park on 30 Nov 2013. Over 5,000 visitors to the carnival signed a pledge card to support the disabled. The cards were assembled to form the Purple Parade logo measuring 5.5m by 5.5m.
