It was quite unexpected that so many people went online to buy traditional Chinese costumes to attend Canberra CC’s Mid-Autumn Festival on 7 Sep 2024. 113 ladies gorgeously dressed as Chang’e, the mythical woman who flew to the moon. The event also had a backdrop display of 1,000 lanterns made from recycled cardboard rolls and of course, the lantern procession.
