The Bone Marrow Donor Programme manages Singapore’s only register of volunteer bone marrow donors. Just one in 20,000 has a chance of finding a matching donor, hence BMDP has been working hard to bring more on its register. On 30 Jan 2015 at Raffles Institution, 32 bone marrow donors turned up for the ‘Celebration of Heroes’ to receive a plaque from Minister K Shanmugam.
