Largest Display Of Street Lanterns

From 7 Sep to 4 Oct 2013, Chinatown became a kaleidoscope of colours. Visitors were enchanted by the massive display of lanterns along New Bridge Road, Eu Tong Sen Street, South Bridge Road and Smith Street for the Lantern Festival. 20,000 colourful lanterns, in 7 colours and 5 shapes symbolising celebrations across 7 continents and 5 oceans, were hung over these roads. The Chinatown celebrations were organised by the Kreta Ayer-Kim Seng CCC.
