Yuhua CC’s Deepavali Gala Of Lights saw more traditional clay lamps (diyas) lighted and displayed than anywhere else in Singapore. About 7,000 diyas were distributed to the schools and houses in the vicinity, inviting students and residents to paint and return them. 6,206 diyas made their way back to the CC, arranged in traditional designs and simultaneously lighted up on 16 Nov 2013 before the Deepavali dinner was served.
