Like many other CCs, Nee Soon East CC has accumulated many used publicity banners. It decided to recycled them into bookmarks for its residents. They were cut up into 16,000 PVC strips, pasted with the SG60 logo and stringed with ribbons. Some of them had calligraphy and writings added on them. On 20 Dec 2025, they were displayed at the Christmas celebration in Nee Soon Seniors’ Hub, in a formation measuring 5.8m by 3.8m.
