Largest National Flag Made Of Balloons
Yew Tee Community’s 47th National Day dinner on 11 Aug 2012 came with a mammoth Singapore flag built with red and white balloons. Using 19,368 balloons, 250 volunteers took 22 hours to construct the 22m by 14.7m flag resting on a sloping metal framework. Everyone at the dinner was visibly impressed with the effort. Largest National Flag Made Of Ping Pong Balls
On 11 Aug 2012 at Bedok Central, East Coast GRC celebrated National Day with a sports fiesta. Residents played various games and winners received ping pong balls which they could use towards the formation of the National flag.
