Most Manicures Done In 3 Hr

To celebrate Mother’s Day, female shoppers at Seletar Mall were treated to complimentary manicure on 7 May 2016. Two of the mall’s tenants – Princess’s Cottage: The Nails Story and The Nails Status – provided the pampering service to 218 participants over a 3-hr period that day.

Largest Mobile App Competition

On 9 Apr 2016, 98 students from 32 secondary schools took part in a nationwide mobile app-making workshop and competition. Organised and held at Bartley Secondary School, the apps had to be done in Tamil as the event was organised in conjunction with Tamil Language Festival.

World’s Largest Bollywood Dance

Students and teachers of Anglo Chinese School (Independent) spent the afternoon of 29 Apr 2009 doing a mass bollywood dance on the school field. 1,082 participants danced to the tune from Dhoom, an Indian movie. It was a student-initiated attempt to break the world record.

Most Number Of People Making Ribbon Crafts At The Same Time

24 Apr 2016 was Marsiling Kindness Day at the Marsiling CC. 252 residents learned from volunteers to make gift bows and friendships bands using colourful ribbons. At the end of the session, they exchanged the ribbon crafts they made with one another.

Most Number of People Exercising With Towels

Led by fitness instructors, 563 students used towels as props to exercise together at Home Team Academy stadium on 9 Apr 2016. The students, all members of National Civil Defence Cadet Corps (NCDCC) from various secondary schools, were there to take part in the bi-annual Games Day. More Photos

World’s Longest Extracted Human Tooth

The world’s longest human tooth extracted measured 3.2 cm, which was removed from Loo Hui Jing on 6 Apr 2009. The procedure took place at the Eli Dental Surgery and performed by Dr Ng Lay Choo.

Most Number Of People Playing SingaPlorers Together

SingaPlorers is a board game, designed by Seeding Hut, about Singapore’s nation building story in the last 50 years. In the game, players learn about the different challenges Singapore faced and is still facing. On 23 Mar 2016, 262 students of Northoaks Primary School were introduced to the game and became the biggest group to play it together.
