Many people prefer to watch the National Day parade on a big screen under the starlit skies with friends and family. Before the parade started, 130 of them were given skewers of chicken wing, sausage and corn. They took a group shot before placing them on the burning coals at Palawan Green on 9 Aug 2018. The custom-made grill also broke its previous year’s record for longest brick barbecue pit with a length of 26.2m. It was 0.8m wide and o.9m high. More delectable BBQ foodstuffs were available at the adjacent kiosk. The event was organised by Sentosa Development Corporation and One Faber Group.
