On 6 Aug 2006, 280 inline skaters formed a chain by holding the waist of the person in front and skated together over a 200m distance. The world record-setting feat was part of the Samsung Inline Skating Festival 2006 at the Padang. The festival was also the largest inline skating event with 1,300 registered participants.
