The Singapore Navy 188 Squadron celebrated its 30 anniversary at the Tuas Naval Base on 18 Aug 2016. It was also the 25th anniversary for 3 of its ships: RSS Valiant, RSS Vigour and RSS Vengeance. To mark the occasion, a 191m line of maritime flags were stringed around the 3 missile corvettes. 188 maritime flags made up the line which also spelled out the Navy’s slogans.
