Renowned rangoli artist, Vijya Mohan, supplied and arranged with 50 organisations to paint plastic water pots (kudam) to celebrate SG50. The art installation at the 50 locations was also part of the Singaport Art Week. Because of logistic arangements, the number of pots that can be gathered at one location kept varying but on 7 Jan 2015, 739 were counted. On 17 Jan, the Kudam arts project was launched at Whampoa Drive.
