Singapore Cancer Society committed to knitting and distributing more than 2,000 hats to cancer patients in various hospitals. On 6 Dec 2014, 212 volunteers turned up at the Singapore Civil Service Club in Tessensohn Road to knit the hats . The occasion was also part of SCS’ 50th anniversary celebrations. The society’s Knit for Love project was started and driven by cancer survivor and volunteer, Lyn Ee, and supports patients undergoing chemotherapy.
