3G Abacus organised its second speed mental math records challenge at the company premises on 15 Jan 2023. Nirvi Jain broke her previous record with 134 correct answers for Fastest 3×1-Digit Multiplications. Lucas Chan Yee Jie also broke the record for Fastest 4-By-1-Digit Divisions with 102 answers. Ryan Khoo Jian Yang managed 48 solutions for the Fastest 6-By-4-Digit Divisions. All were completed in 5 min.
Ryan Khoo had on 6 Nov 2022, already accomplished 3 records: Fastest 2×2-Digit Multiplications with 104 answers and Fastest 4-by-2-Digit Divisions, with 116 answers, both in 5 min. He was also the Fastest To Complete 50 Multiplications And 50 Divisions On Sporcle in a time of 57 sec.
Nirvi is in Pr 5 at CHIJ Our Lady of Good Counsel. Lucas is in Sec 1 at School of Science and Technology. Ryan is a Nan Chiau High School Sec 3 boy.
