In its Heart-for-Rice charity drive, Kaki Bukit youths folded 65,434 origami hearts in one hour. The hearts would be exchanged for rice in 2.5kg packs and donated to one-room rental households in the vicinity. The project was organised by the Kaki Bukit CC YEC at its premises on 20 Jul 2013. The origami hearts would also be inked with well-wishes and displayed for the coming National Day.
