As part of the GetActive line-up of activities organised by Sport Singapore at the Singapore Sports Hub, National Cancer Centre Singapore (Adolescent and Young Adult Cancer Group) organised and invited the public to join in a stepping exercise. There were 10 stair-climbing machines and each participant had up to 10 mins to work on. After 7 hours, a total of 344,744 steps were recorded on 4 Aug 2019. National wakeboarder Sasha Christian, high jumper Michelle Sng and swimmer Christopher Cheong were the ambassadors at the event. They also shared their experiences of losing family members to cancer.
