To celebrate the opening of its new training facilities on 22 Nov 2013, Republic Polytechnic School of Hospitality attempted the record of making the longest strings rolled out of its pasta-making machine. The green tea flavoured pasta, made by staff and students, measured 501.92m and was later donated to 4 charities for the elderly.
