Tampines East CC celebrated its Mid-Autumn Festival at Tampines St 21 on 6 Sep 2014. All who came were invited to write their hopes and well wishes on the yellow balloons that were put together to form a moon-like lantern. The helium-filled lantern, measuring 3.18m in diameter, together with the legendary Chang Er, were later released to float over the Tampines neighbourhood. Singapore’s most prolific balloon record-holder Lily Tan and her team created the lantern.
