The Malay Language Learning and Promotion Committee was set up by MOE to enthuse Malay Language students in the learning of the language. On 9 Jul 2023 at One Punggol, it held the Fiesta Bahasa where attendees wrote short original pantuns (Malay poems) among other literary and cultural activities. 764 of the pantuns were exhibited on standing boards. For the first time, the event involved preschool teachers and children, although this was the fifth of such fiesta.
