The Singapore Night Festival 2026, organised by HeritageSG, showcased ‘Once Upon a Time’ by artist Natalia Tan. A new record was achieved for the largest display of 38 animal sculptures, co-created by students from 7 Singapore schools using recycled cardboard, discarded foam and textiles. The schools that participated are Westwood Primary School, Chung Cheng High School (Yishun), Deyi Secondary School, Manjusri Secondary School, Naval Base Secondary School, ITE College Central and Nanyang Junior College. The artwork was exhibited at the Capitol Singapore Outdoor Plaza on 19 Aug 2026.
