Sparkletots Preschools at Nee Soon East, Nee Soon Central and Gambas used recycled plastic packaging materials to make a bag which was 2.3m (length) by 1.6m (height) by 0.5m (width) in size. A lot of work was put into making the giant bag which started with the collection of used wrappers and food packaging bags, cleaning and cutting them to equal size, folding and stapling to form strips and finally the weaving process. The bag was displayed on 21 Apr 2017 at Nee Soon East CC at an event to celebrate Earth Day.
