Singapore witnessed the most daring straitjacket escape act outside the National Museum on 31 Aug 2013. JC Sum and Magic Babe Ning were each strapped into a double straitjacket and hung upside-down 75 feet into the air (about 7 storeys) from a single burning rope held up by a crane. Fortunately they freed themselves from the straitjackets and were lowered back to the stage before the rope snaps. The show was to bring the Singapore Night Festival to a climactic end.
