Visitors to Our Tampines Hub had the chance to try batik painting on umbrellas. By 21 Jul 2018, total of 1,450 umbrellas were painted and hung from a net at the mall. The activity was organised by the Tampines Central CC and the waxing of batik designs were carried out by East Spring Primary School, Chongzheng Primary School and St Hilda’s Secondary School.
