Highest Altitude Attained By A Rocket Propelled By Only Air And Water

For their final year project at Singapore Polytechnic’s School of Mechanical & Aeronautical Engineering, 5 students built a rocket which can be propelled by common fluids instead of using combustibles, pyrotechnics and electricity. On 10 Dec 2016, Lee Si Yuan, Darren Cheng Chin Wee, Goh Ee Liang, Stantly Hng Jian Zong and Geraldine Tan Wei Tian launched the rocket at the school sports complex. It reached its highest point at 74.61m above ground level on the sixth time, before making its way down. The students were supervised by lecturer Leong Ying Wei.
