Moulmein-Kallang GRC & Whampoa SMC residents got to celebrate SG50 the fun and high-tech way with an augmented reality app. Created by the Joint NTU-UBC Research Centre of Excellence in Active Living for the Elderly (LILY), the app enabled residents to take a photo with an ipad while holding up the SG50 logo. The AR app turned the logo into a birthday cake. By 8 Aug 2015, 50,000 responses were collected and the record was awarded at the National Day Dinner held at Farrer Park.
