Largest Project To Make Paper Roses

Largest Project To Make Paper Roses

Over 20,000 students learnt about the organ donation process through SingHealth’s roadshow and activities held over four months in their schools. They folded origami roses to represent the gift of life that a organ donor can give to another as well as to thank those who have donated. On 12 Aug 2013, SBOR officials verified the total origami collection at 1,064,180, meeting the ‘Thanks A Million’ theme for this project. Thereafter, French artist Maurice created an art installation on the wall of Singapore General Hospital using the paper roses.
