Longest Palmprint Chain

Longest Palmprint Chain

This year is Ngee Ann Polytechnic’s 50th anniversary. The Poly’s School of Humanities and Social Sciences decided to celebrate it by showing that they were ‘hand-in-hand’. Students and staff cut out foam sheets with their palm outlines and wrote wishes on them. 2,756 of these ‘palms’ were stringed together to form a 332m chain. The chain was set up on 3 May 2013, prior to the anniversary dinner that night.
