Every year, Citibank employees all over the world are encouraged to go out on a single day and do their bit for the community. On 31 Aug 2013, Global Community Day was celebrated with over a thousand Citi Singapore staff and their families building sandcastles for charity. 750 sandcastles were completed at Tanjong Beach, Sentosa, which amounted to 52,500 bowls of rice for the less privileged families in the South East district of Singapore.
