West Coast CCMC organised a Chinese New Year dinner for its residents at Ban Heng Pavilion Restaurant on 1 Mar 2015. At the event, each diner made two ‘oranges’ from plastic mesh bags which were later used to form the Chinese character ‘ji’ meaning ‘auspicious’. About 1,280 ‘oranges’ measuring 1.8m by 1.8m were stuck to a board.
