Together with his parents, Om Madan Garg trekked to the Everest Base Camp, walking 65km over 10 days covering an altitude gain of around 2,500m from the village of Lukla at 2,860m to the base at 5,364m. They arrived at Lukla on 28 Sep and reached the base on 7 Oct 2022. The 6-yr-6-mth boy managed well despite bad weather, flight cancellations, lack of creature comforts, hot days and the cold nights. He is a K2 boy at Canossaville Preschool.
