Most Number Of Vehicles Doing Simultaneous Tyre Change

1st SAF Transport Battalion celebrated its 41st anniversary on 11 Oct 2019 at Sembawang Camp. One of the activities organised that day was a tyre changing exercise. 41 vehicles comprising Ford Everest, Ford Focus, Land Rover 110 and Mercedes Benz 240 GD Scout jeeps had their tyres dismantled and replaced by 92 personnel at the same time. 35 SCE commemorated its Golden Jubilee by setting a record on 18 Oct 2019 at Seletar Camp, Piccadily Road. As a break from their training routine, the unit personnel folded coloured papers into origami pyramids. They then arranged 3,990 of the pyramids on a banner which measured 5m by 2m.   Read More »

Largest Word Formation Made Of Rubber Bands

Fajar Secondary School set its 46th record on 22 Oct 2019 by displaying words made of bunches of colourful rubberbands, measuring 7.8m by 2m. It was also the school’s Publicity Day where Primary 6 students from nearby primary schools were invited for a half-day familiarisation tour of the school. Most Number Of Step-Ups In 2 Hours (Group)

Raffles Girls’ Primary School marked its 60th anniversary with a step-up challenge on 3 Oct 2019. With about 36 people in each batch, students and teachers stepped up and down the excercise platforms in a synchronised manner. Largest Display Of Papier Mache Lanterns

To encourage recycling, Eastpoint Mall shoppers made lanterns using newspapers at the mall during the Mid-Autumn festival in September. They then decorated the lanterns with coloured papers cut into different shapes and fitted them with LED lights. 200 papier mache lanterns were displayed on a frame 1.4m in length and 2m in height outside the mall and they were counted on 2 Oct 2019. On 22 Sep 2019, Halal Goods Do Good, a non-profit organisation raised funds by holding a food bazaar at Nee Soon East CC. At the event, 178 participants enjoyed Nasi Ambeng lunch on 44 trays. At Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA)’s Start Small Dream Big Appreciation Ceremony on 14 Sep 2019, 1,376 participants comprising ECDA staff, special guests, parents, teachers and preschoolers played handmade shakers together. Largest Slime Installation

The Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) and the Singapore Science Centre organised a two-day science carnival at Fusionopolis from 13-14 Sep 2019. Among the many experiments that the public could have their hands on was the slime-making activity.
