World’s Longest Scuba Submergence In A Controlled Environment

Khoo Swee Chiow broke the Guinness world record by staying underwater for 220 hr from 16-25 Dec 2005, the longest scuba dive done in a controlled environment. Staying immersed in a special mineral water tank at Tampines Central, Khoo only got a 5-min break every hour in an air-bell and was not allowed to surface.
