This year is Ngee Ann Polytechnic’s 50th anniversary. The Poly’s School of Humanities and Social Sciences decided to celebrate it by showing that they were ‘hand-in-hand’. Students and staff cut out foam sheets with their palm outlines and wrote wishes on them. 2,756 of these ‘palms’ were stringed together to form a 332m chain.
