World’s Largest Climate-Controlled Conservatories

The 101-ha Gardens by the Bay planted with 220,000 plants from almost every continent, opened on 29 Jun 2012. Its most prominent features are the two conservatories which are the largest climate-controlled conservatories in the world. The cool-dry Flower Dome has a gross area of 12,800 sqm. The cool-wet Cloud Forest occupies 7,300 sqm.

The Supertrees made of concrete and steel and covered with creepers, reach as high as 50m. At night, the iconic Supertrees liven up the gardens with special lighting and projected media.
